"Among the myriad Turkish restaurants in the city, Defne stands out for its exquisitely prepared food, the near-perfect warm service, the tasteful setting, and an authentic atmosphere. Beyond simple kebabs, the fresh and healthy menu here includes a great selection of hard-to-find fish dishes from the Bosphorus, such as acili ahtapot (spicy octopus served with mushrooms, olives, onions, garlic, and bell pepper in a white wine and tomato sauce)."
