Ottenthal

Style:
Austrian

More: An old favourite Austrian, full of atmosphere and celebrities

Reviews:
Ottenthal is one of our old recommended restaurants in Berlin. It is an excellent Austrian with very friendly service; prices are not bargain ones; but they are worth the food. The restaurant has many local celebrities, and as recently reported, also Gwyneth Paltrow found herself "eating" there (she was not really eating - who goes to an Austrian restaurant and eats a salad and salmon?)

The Basics:
Kantstraße 153, 10623 Berlin-Charlottenburg (S/U Zoologischer Garten)
+49 (0)30 313 31 62

URL: Ottenthal

Accessible? no (narrow restaurant, bathroom

Child-Friendliness? not really (I mean, the waiters will smile at your child, the celebrities will notice her, but except for high-chairs, they don't really cater for child-visitors.

Related Tours/Sites:
The restaurant is located near the zoo, not far from the Jewish Cultural Centre and the Erhard-Haus (the "Armadillo").

It could be integrated with "Berlin's Top Sites" tour; with the Jews in West Berlin Tour; and with customised Berlin tours
