Another review here: "Goodtime Restaurant on Chausseestrasse 1 serves piquant curries, spicy soup broth, and all the other Thai favorites you’ve been craving, but unlike other “Thai” restaurants, this one doesn’t scrimp on the flavor and spiciness. Reviews:
Unfortunately, we haven't been to Singapore yet and I must admit that this Asian fusion is not what I hear about Singaporean food - but it is still good food, a mixture of Indian, Malaysian and Chinese, which also means something for (almost) everybody: vegetarians and carnivores, those who like their food drowning in coconut milk and those who'd prefer a Chinese style dish or a grilled Tandoori style dish. The prices are fair, especially during business lunch hours (called "Mittag Menu" in German), when you can get a whole meal for 10 EUR or less. The service is a bit lacking (as usual in Berlin), with the Oranienstrasse (Kreuzberg) branch slightly better in this devision (and in our opinion, in general).

There are somewhat mixed reviews about this place. On the one hand, there are several such raving reviews that Le Lamian managed to become ranked as the third best Chinese restaurant in Berlin on QYPE. On the other, a recent review warns that much of the ado is because people do not know "real" Chinese restaurants, only the mum-and-pap fast food joints, and in comparison with these it ranks good, but in general, its food is disappointing (in German, a long and good - mostly negative - review on Qype).

Asian/Pan Asian
More: This quite famous restaurant has received several very bad reviews, be warned.
Reviews:
Pan Asia is a quite famous Asian fusion restaurant in Mitte, in a lovely courtyard. Despite or perhaps because of this trendiness, there are some very negative reviews on it: apparently, it applies a door policy that might be befitting a cool New York club, but not a Berlin restaurant. Anke from Banana Skirt, for example, complains that she came to Pan Asia after reserving a spot for her and two friends of her parents' (aged about 65). Anke says the "hostess" told them there is no reservation (without even looking at her lists). Then, the hostess lied and said that there is another restaurant called Pan Asia in Friedrichshain, which sometimes gets their calls and that she is terribly sorry, but despite the fact that the restaurant was empty at the time, she would not sit them. Anke looked at home: she has called the "right" Pan Asia (perhaps there isn't even any Friedrichshain Pan Asia, only an fragment of the "hostess"' imagination), and moreover, that there are several other reviews about arrogant and bad service at Pan Asia (German again). Apparently, there was ageism or another type of discrimination here.

The food was tasty and reasonably priced (main dishes are about 10 euros each). The service was friendly, if a little slow, and the decor was nothing to write home about, but I didn’t mind a bit - the food was definitely worth my time. I think Samadhi will be earning a place on my must-visit list for future trips to Berlin, as well.
Samadhi is closed Mondays, but open for lunch and dinner every other day of the week."
